Too be honest this is the only time I have been upset with something @ TW. My internet is great 15x2 with up to 22x4 while downloading or uploading large files.
U-Verse on the other hand is on a copper network (what cable was on in the 80's) and seems to be a step in the wrong direction. FiOS on the other hand is great and is the only other company I would consider outside of cable service.
So in short once again....I just want the damn channel back!  |
Fios has Nice internet speed from what I experienced at a hotel during work training, I don't know much about it aside from what I have heard.
Install is expensive and requires a multiple year contract.
It is not close to being readily available except certain high population areas.
The Fiber Optic lines run to the house and they put a huge box on the side of the house and use coaxle cables just like the cable companies but you have to have a box on each tv.
I guess it is good to have an additional option because quite frankly that is how you get the best prices for services. I just wish our nation wasn't so far behind now in internet speed. I saw some chart in a magazine that showed soooo many countries at much faster speeds then your average city in the states.
