I really dont have any use for Tim, like must of us I guess just by the way he acts he turns alot of people off...But I was browsing around the ufcjunkie website and it had a clipping of an interview he gave after the fight and the guy told him that dana white thought he had an image problem and tim said well yes i do I WAS MENTALLY AND PHYSCIAL ABUSED BY MY MOTHER WHEN I WAS A CHILD SO I GUESS I STILL CARRY THAT AROUND WITH ME to this day.....I did not know that about him that makes me feel sorry for him. I know people who had that happen to them and they are all fucked up......Hell i guess I might start having to pull for him now. http://ufcjunkie.com/category/ufc-68/

i know but damn cut the man some slack thats probably why he wears his belt everywhere he probably had everything taken away from him thats why he never took it off

I'm not really a Sylvia fan, but the hatred he gets from a bunch of 15 year olds on computers is staggering.
How can you hate someone so deeply whom you've never met?

What exactly does WOW mean in your avatar. I remember working on Long Island in `99, and seen and heard it on the radio. But dont remember what it exactley meant. But we were re-doing Midas shops. And we painted a big WOW on the front of one...And ofcourse painted over it later that day. I also ripped letters down, so it read MUFF SHOP as well.
Anyways, I never heard that about Tim. That can be rough stuff, I would imagine. But he will be hated on mainly because of his size and shape, no matter what. Now that he dont have the belt, maybe he will be much more exciting again in the octagon. i do know that when he first came into the UFC, he looked to be much more defined.

I personally don't hate the dude, but he put me through 50 minutes of boring ass stalling to make sure he didn't get caught and lose the belt before randy owned him, so I don't think I should have to be a fan. I have a lot respect for him though, it's not easy for anyone to accomplish what he did- boring or not.

I feel bad for the guy. But I'm a fight fan and want to see the best possible fights happen. Tim Sylvia with all due respect is just tall and big.
That's why the UFC had him in there for all those years and why they'll let him fight again. He has no real observable technical skill and that's not a big turn on for me. I think Tim's a good guy and all, but when all you have is just your physical size?
Not good for the sport.

its a stupid ass catch phrase (wippem out wednesday) by a couple of lame ass dj's. it was supposed to get girls to flash ya if you had the bumper sticker on you vehicle. the only problem was, no one really listen so the gimmick didn't work all that well.
I think most people just dislike Sylvia because he was a paper Champ for so long. I don't hate him but I don't care for him either.
