Would root for Wand Vs. Mother Theresa. She's dead? Hmmm...He must have gotten to her.

If he was an amateur you could make that arguement. He is a professional and should know how to control his little temper tantrums. I mean seriously what the fuck is a guy using piledrivers for? How could anyone possibly say "he wasn't trying to be a dick" LOL right.... Dude seriously needs a suspension to get checked for mental stability. If he can't control his feelings and gets to emotional to where he is willing to damage someone at any cost then maybe we really don't need him in UFC.

FACT: Thales said he could continue
FACT: Thales didn't want to time to recover
FACT: Thales speaks English! ...he knew it was an illegal knee
FACT: Thales in the post fight interview dismissed the knee as not being a big deal (supporting why he he chose to continue and he didn't even weant time to recover!)
FACT: Thales has fought several times in the UFC before, and as said previously, he speaks English pretty well, evidenced by him not needing a translator in his interviews.

...its pretty damn obvious that he knew he looked like crap in that fight and got his ass handed to him. He was lucky to get the win. He made up those sh*t excuses like not kniowing that you cant lose by an illegal knee. Funny how the illegal knee changed from not being very damaging to now being utterly debilitating. He was making excuses for his performance like many fighters do. Why is this so hard to understand.
If you believe that's an untruthful excuse then why don't you explain to me why he didn't just say he couldn't continue? And he would have been rewarded a win.

That illegal knee gave Leites the victory. He was getting throttled in the second round before that and the beating would have continued through the third.

That knee was a second away from being praised by everyone on this board had Leites' knee gotten off the ground.

Thales was winning until the knee. He would continue winning if Nate didnt use a illegal strike. Thats is a fact.

The knee was a skillful strike and should not be discounted as simply an illegal strike. Consider the outcome if it was a legal strike.

We really need knees on the ground.... it changes the game considerably.

Thales had a good first round but too say he was dominating at any point in the second round would be incorrect. The fight was going Nate's way before the knee.
