Without the point deduction, Marquardt would've won the fight. I'd like to see a rematch.

War Thales, always been a fan even before his UFC debut... My support for the guy grew more after that performance. Never doubt his heart.

And yeah, it's a shame about Marquardt's illegal strikes. The knee was the killer. A point being taken does a little to make up for it, but sometimes it isn't enough. A fighter may not recover from that.

Nate dominated him after the first round. Leites should not be proud of this win.

Take a moment and consider why he dominated him after the first. Leites was done after the knee. It's easy to seee, before the knee Leites winning, after the knee Marquadt in charge.

He shouldn't be proud? He was beating a world class fighter who had to resort to cheating in an attempt to win. He should be proud for the fact that a top 10 fighter had no answer for him and had to resort to illegal tactics.

I'm a Marquadt fan, but Leites fully deserved the win - and it is a genuine win.

Who is to blame for the point deduction? Marquadt.
