i agree but there is a line between strat and finishing a fight. And a fighters goal should always be there to fight and finish.

If a fighter has attempted to KO, submit, and GnP his opponent to no avail, yet is winning the fight substantially, there is no need to continue to try and KO him and put yourself at jeopardy for a wild swinging losing opponent. Stick and move and let him come to you. You are already winning the fight.

Coward is a bit much. All these guys have balls, but a Machida fight is as slow and painful to watch as old people fucking. Just because someone implements a strategy doesn't oblige a fan to like them. I don't like Machida, he bores me to tears. He's a very strategic, talented bore.

Some strategic fights are great though. I lost my mind when Randy fought Gonzaga and that was a very strategic fight. I really liked the Kenflo fight as well.

TS is right, fuck the uneducated fans. Strategy and game plans are keys to winning.

Agreed....the technical game is so much more interesting for me as an MMA fan.

Do you really see this...
<a href="http://s73.photobucket.com/albums/i237/jamesmichael7/Fun%20pics/?action=view&current=machidaortiz.gif" target="_blank"><img src="http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i237/jamesmichael7/Fun%20pics/machidaortiz.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

...as being the same as Starnes/Quarry??

If so, I'm at a loss for words.

Your words are so elusive and full of strategy.
