Strategy is what gives you the best chance of winning. Anybody who fights Machida and doesn't go in with some type of strategy will loose and possibly look bad. K-Flo went in with a gameplan that gave him the best chance of winning and he won. Not every strategy will work because we have seen many that didn't work.

What is annoying is when they say it's cowardly, and trash on fighters who are clearly skilled.

My favorite fighter is still Wanderlei Silva, because he's just so exciting and aggressive. Does that mean i should say Machida sucks, because I'd rather watch Wanderlei fight? No. That's the only problem here.
I completely 100% agree with you.

By the way, that Wanderlei "post rape smoke" pic is one of the funniest things i've ever seen.

Hey, KenFlo and Machida are smart enough to know what it takes to win, and I as a fan actually think it is entertaining in it's own way. But I also like the occasional Frye vs. Takayama and the occassional Zulu special.

A lot of people have not been in fights or simply do not understand the idea of employing a strategy, and waiting for opportunities when you have the best chance of landing something.
Thank you!

I don't criticize Machida because he never made a big deal about "I finish fights"

Sure, who doesn't? Don Frye is the original mauler, that IS his strategy. If he came across a one hit KO specialist and decided to change his game plan to be more elusive and stick-and-move, half of the people on this site would say he "ran"

Kenny was smart and used his tools to out-think Huerta. He understood that Roger is the stronger and more explosive of the pair and that standing there in the box and trading move for move with Roger would've been stupid and wouldn't cost Kenny the fight. Huerta was getting pissed because he was taken down repeatedly and didn't have any solid answer for the offense that Kenny put forth.

Even at the end of the third, he ate several unanswered jabs that just drove the point home that Kenny may not be the superior brawler...but his gameplan was much better and won him all three rounds.

Just like Lesnar and Machida's most recent outings, the smarter fighter won the day.
