strategically, where does rampage go from here?

firstly i thought rampage won, but cliche aside, it could've gone either way

so now, does rampage go strait for another top 5er like machida or wanderlei?

or does he take a fight in the 6-10 range like a Soko or thiago silva?

personally i'd love to see him against Soko, but i'm not sure if it'd warrant a subsequent title shot

When Franklin lost, they gave him McDonald then Okami before a title shot. I think Rampage needs to win a couple before getting a title shot.

Give him a top 20 guy, then give him a top 3 guy, then he gets his shot if he wins both.

Usually you need to win two in a row before title shots get put in the picture anyway. And it's not like the top 10 of the UFC's 205 are weak opponents anyway. Good fights all around to be made. I'd like a Page/Jardine fight just to be different.

i think the manor in which they lost is a key part of it, franklin got thrashed pretty bad while rampage lost a very close decision

A fight with Shogun and/or Wand is in order before another title shot.

This makes sense to me. 1 against these chaps then title fight. I prefer wand in November.

Close fights deserve a rematch or 1 fight before fighting for the title again.

Chuck and Franklin got demolished and thats why they had to work themselves back up to contention.
