Spencer Fisher=Jens Pulver with more size, less boxing and judo???
Does anyone else see that fisher's style resembles that of Jens Pulver. Their both left handed, have great wrestling and have good chins. I think Jens is a more powerful puncher and throws more combinations (some mean body shots i might add) and fisher is a bigger LW whereas Jens is really only like 155-145 lbs. each fight. Also Fisher's judo and size are really the only two main things i see differently between the two...also, does anyone think that he might have the same success Jens did in the octagon??

spencer fisher is awesome. i feel if he had more time to prepare for stout he wouldve won but thats what happens when you accept a fight on 2 days notice.

WHEN HE FIGHTS AT 155 HE ACTUALLY COMES IN THE OCTAGON AT ABOUT 170-175. HE PUTS ALMOST 20 POUNDS ON BETWEEN WEIGH IN AND FIGHT NIGHT. HE IS ALOT BIGGER THEN JENS. JENS IS A KILLER, HE SHOULD BE BROUGHT BACK TO THE UFC. HE PUTS ON A FUCKEN SHOW. HE IS A KILLER.

the biggest thing that impressed me about him when i saw that fight the other night was his judo. his boxing looked crisp as hell at the start- he was ownign stout- but he never hurt him in the slightest, he was only outscoring him. if he couldn't hurt him on his feet in the first round i gotta think he doesn't have too great of power, and obvisouly he fell apart stamina-wise.

That is a good point. Maybe we see so much of Pulver in Spencer is because they train together and he is learning a lot from Jens.
