So it sounds like Joe Lauzon, Doug Evans, and Michael Bisping might be featured in the game. I hope the roster is huge. I don't expect them to get everyone, but the more, the better (unless fighters start feeling like carbon copies of one another).

As for the gameplay, that's a hard nut to crack. Mixed martial arts is a complicated, dynamic sport, so any effort to makes a mixed martial arts simulation will be a complex endeavor in itself and will likely result in a complicated game to master. The brand of UFC games that started on the Dreamcast eight years ago, however, had more of an arcade-type feel to it, but the games that followed just felt robotic and stiff. Hopefully, the developers will find a middle ground. I don't want it to play like a simulation, but it needs to respect the dynamics of the sport at the same time. Tough task.

Actually if the developers take their time it can be done very well. By your statement I can tell that you've never even tried this UFC game (the best one IMHO) and the reviewers seem to back me up. The way the gameplay worked was if you went in slugging and missed, your fighter would tire themselves out and be more succeptible to get knocked out (just like real life).

Also the takedowns and submissions were done very well also. If someone shot in on you, you had the chance to sprawl out and reverse it, but you had to do it at the right TIME (like real life). Submissions worked the same way, when an attempt was maded you had to be ready to guard against it at the right TIME. Great game. Next time please do a little research before puking all over something.
That game was a classic. Still have it in its bag with its receipt... Eh i used to just buy games leave the shit in the bag and just play the game. Got from it Toys 'R Us... wow '00...I miss being young... Man... now im just sitting back and thinking of all the shit that has happened from 2000 to 08...

Nice. By the same token, I often feel if the UFC put on a PPV where everyone who watched it was fellated by a supermodel and got their mortgage paid off, there would still be people here trying to boycott it. ("Elle McPhearson isn't really even a SuperModel anymore! This is typical!")

If they had Doug Evans do a body scan the roster will be huge, because no offense he shouldn't be in it out of all the people.

Confirmed Fighters;
Chuck Liddell (Original Game Trailer)
Quinton Jackson (Original Game Trailer)
Gleison Tibau http://www.blogdomatheus.com/
Thiago Alves http://www.blogdomatheus.com/
Bruce Buffer (announcer & unlockable) http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content376.html
Forrest Griffin (UFC 76 Special Features show a clip of a body scan for the game)
Diego Sanchez (UFC 76 DVD^^^)
Matt Arroyo http://www.mmafightline.com/news/2008/212/..._316090_2.shtml

Everything I have seen about this game looks good. I am trying not to get high expectations...but it seriously looks like a decent game.

Well come on, if Matt Arroyo is in the game which is CONFIRMED, you KNOW that there is going to be a huge roster.

I think they should focus less on having alot of fighters in, and focus more on gameplay.

So far Bisping, Arroyyo and Lauzon are in the game.
