The Soko double standard

Check out soko's record on sherdog, ever since he's been recognized by the general mma fans (pride/ufc fans) he is 2-0 with 2 ko's, not to take anything away from this dude but he knocked out two bjj fighters. The point is that he hasn't fought strikers, yet he gets hyped up to be amazing, the next best thing...

Let's not forget who we just saw fight a real striker for the first time in a while and what happened (LIDDELL!!!!!!!!!!!)

I'm a liddell fan so don't even bother posting bullshit about liddell's fought strikers, he has but not top calibur

p.s. anyone know of any good places to start training mma in rochester, ny?

Is not even close to the same agrument.

Soku's first 2 fights he was thown to the dogs against 2 top 5 LHW's and he Knocked them both out.... Nog was regarded as having very solid stand up ability.

Lets not make the assumtion that Soku's been fighting the past 4 years, the same opponents over and over, some of them not in the top 10 or overated themselves "cough" tito "cough"

wins over Nog and arona >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Vernon white, Tito, horn, bablau

Fighters who completely rely on standup???

Rampage? The guy who slammed Arona out?
Shogun? Seems to me most of his fights end with GnP, Randleman got finished with a leglock or a kneebar

Poor analogy

I watched Soko vs texeira yesterday. I was surprised at how Texeira outpunched him and finished so early. After watching Soko's two pride fights he looked invincible, but I think someone like Liddell or an in-form Silva could beat him.
