soccer kicks and stomps or elbows??

read the thread first...

no i would rather see knees, stomps, and soccer kicks on down opponents...bec u usually see knockouts, but with elbows u always see cuts.. now who here wants to see cuts that were caused by elbows.

how many times have u seen a fight end early bec of a cut caused by an elbow..i have and i'm tired of it..ufc fighters are always looking for a cut to win a fight..even tito said it... well wouldn't u be pissed off if a fight u really wanted to watch ended in a cut from elbows to the head. i would want my money back..just think if it was a match like liddel and W. Silva.. which i don't think is going to happen..but wat if Silva used his elbows to cause a cut... u would be really pissed off i bet..

i rather see someone get knocked out from soccer kicks and stomps any day.. u can flame all u want..u think about it has anyone really gottin hurt from stomps and soccer kicks..no..well think about it before u flame..

Well, UFC allows cuts to be worked on... ala Vaseline, cutmen etc.... I think elbows are fine... You dont see many of them, but when they are thrown they do cause damage/cuts... Lesson learned... DONT TAKE ELBOWS!

Elbows and knees to the head on the ground. No knees to the head on the ground makes the North-South Position practically worthless in the UFC. Soccer Kicks should be allowed but I don't think Stomps should be.

The UFC used to have headbutts too, they stopped them for this very reason, cuts!

Fedor lost to TK from an elbow. (who's the better fighter)

Have you ever seen a fight finished from an elbow. I can only think of one off the top of my head (Wandy vs. Paterra from UFC 20). How many fights have we seen stopped early from a cut caused by an elbow, too many. The UFC needs to get better refs before they start allowing kicks and stomps though.

stomps are the most dangerous strike in MMA since the entire weight of the fighter is behind the strike, plus gravity is in play. stomps are far too dangerous, they could easily break a neck or crush a skull if landed correctly.

i would rather see a fight end in a cut than see a fighter severely injured and risk seeing MMA get yet another brutal black eye in the media

Monson choked out Hinkle nicely from the north south position. Any wrestler worth a fuck knows how to transition to side control from north-south.

Soccer kicks and stomps are not needed and give the sport a bad image.
