So UFC 65 did a total gate of $2,138,000

Pretty good....according to wikipedia but I can't find the article for the source they listed that says that was the live gate....it just says the attendance

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_65

Promotion Ultimate Fighting Championship
Date November 18, 2006
Venue ARCO Arena
City Sacramento, California
Attendance 15,350 (12,362 paid)[1]
Total Gate $2,138,000
Total Purse $457,000

It easily beats out the last two with over 12k paid ....but still once you see Chuck liddell on a card you really see how much more $$ you get with him. The UFC expects 1 million buys with the next PPV

City Las Vegas, Nevada
Attendance 10,173 (8,913 paid) [1]

Total Purse $209,000 (disclosed only)

Promotion Ultimate Fighting Championship

Total Purse $332,000 (disclosed only)

Promotion Ultimate Fighting Championship

Unless you have some insider information which I would love you to share, the only available info for you to base that on is the disclosed purse. Everyone knows this is only a %age of the total payout.

Please let me know what other info you have?

You have no idea what they pay their fighters because what they publish is only a base salary.

Given the recent success, you can be sure that their top fighters earn a great deal of money.

Graciemag claims that Dana offered 1Million dollars per fight to Fedor, but he turned them down.. So hopefully that is a sign of their ambition..
