Silva staying in Pride!Does that mean we can forget about Silva vs Chuck?
Now its obvious that Silva is with Pride and not going anywhere. He will compete in the GP, and later this year will defend his title, DSE is hoping in the show in the US in October. Silva is negotiating a deal with Pride. In a recent interview I read that the head of Chute Boxe Rudimar Fredrigo said that Chute Boxe was raised in Pride as a family and is staying in Pride, when asked about Silva going to fight for the UFC of WFA,so thats not happening. Now, does that mean we can forget about Chuck vs Silva, since Dana and Chuck wanted that fight in the UFC and said that since Silva is a free agent now is the time. Im not sure, maybe you guys have some good ideas. But with Pride coming to the US with one show this year and 4 to 5 next year, that match is likely to happen, what do you guys think.

I don't even think the fans, well the casual fans, will even make the connection between Chuck and Wanderlei... they'll sit back thinking Diego Sanchez would own Vanderelei (the way MVA said it before he fought Silva)

No shit it could happen.
But you said it's likely to hapopen and it's not. It's a big gamble for both organizations but especially for the UFC. If Silva won it would really boost Pride in America and it would be really bad for the UFC which tries to portray itself as the premiere MMA organization in the world.

unless Liddell loses the belt this is as likely to happen as Frank Shamrock - Silva

Franky Four Fingers: So the biblical scholars mis-translated the Hebrew word for "young woman" into the Greek word for "virgin," which was a pretty easy mistake to make, since there is only a subtle difference in the spelling. But back then it was the "virgin" that caught people's attention. It's not every day a virgin conceives and bears a son. So you keep that for a couple of hundred years, and the next thing you know, you have the Roman Catholic church.
