Mirko has had a GREAT career fighting at HW, there's no need to change anything except his confidence level. He needs to be agressive again, and attack his opponent, and not move backwards like he did against Gonzoga and Kongo. Hell, he looked real good in the 1st rd. against Kongo, then for some reason he started going into a defensive mode the last 2 rds. and lost. He needs to go train with Randy Couture, Randy will have him ready to go to war!

well not that everyones body is structured the same and what not , but he could definitely make the weight if he wanted to , its just a matter of does he want to go through the proper dieting.its one thing if we were asking for GSP to cut to featherweight ,its another when its crocop with making lhw , possibly 15-18lb cut . he could probably shed 6lbs off water weight alone , the rest would be up to his diet towards the bout.

Once again Cro cop is walking at 233-235 lbs right now....he added more muscle over the last 10 months. His fight against mizuno, he was 233lb. As for the dummy who said cc doesnt have superior skills is a complete idiot

not everyone thinks its time to cut weight to pick on smaller guys just because theyve had a couple losses. cro cop has had a great career at heavyweight and is still a very dangerous guy. personally, i think weight cutting is damaging to the sport anyway and i dont agree with it.

Mirko can hang with anyone at HW. But yes, I do agree, that he could definately drop to 205, due to your reasons.

I believe he once said that he doesn't like to cut weight though. WHich is why he hasn't gone down to 205.

I'm hoping he comes back with a vengeance. Cro Cop is the Shit!!

Cro Cop should most definitely try cutting to 205 because he's really not a big HW. He looked thin compared to Gonzaga and Kongo.

He might even be a dominant force at 205 if he chose to cut the weight. Maybe it would have the reverse effect for Mirko the way it did for Overeem, i.e. Overeem stopped cutting weight and he's doing outstanding at HW, if Mirko cuts the weight he may do outstanding at 205. Would be interesting to see.
