Shogun will be back! I don't understand the hate!
I was really dissatisfied as a true Shogun fan, but I am sure he will be back soon ... and very strong, he is just 25 years old... and MMA fans should not forget those great fights he offered in the past!!! a real mixed martial arts fan doesn't bash fighters!!!! I'm really shocked reading all those posts here!!!!!!!

I to have been a long time fan also.
What is really bothering me is just the poor performance of most of the Pride fighters that came over. I've been into MMA for a long time, well over ten years. I feel I have a pretty good eye on talent or in otherwords who is legit and who is a pretender. I can honestly admit I haven't really been wrong on too many guys through the years.
I'm honestly starting to question if everything I saw in PRIDE over the years was legit. We all know of work fights at the start up of Pride. Been a few rumors through the years that some fighters in Pride have been offered bonuses and other promises for tanking. Yazuka had there hands in Pride about as deep as you can go. So it isn't to far fetch to connect some dots.
Also it really has me questioning the use of performance enhancement drugs in Pride. I've never seen Shogun gas like he did last night. CroCop seems to be just completely out of it. Look at Gomi vs Diaz. Gomi looked great for about 3 minutes and then went down hill fast.
I'm not really mad that Shogun lost. I'm just really starting to get a gut feeling about if Pride was really always on the up and up. Makes me sad to think any of this could be true. I'm leaning more on the performance drug side of things, but still just sad.

It is just the true character, or lack thereof, of many of the forum members coming out. I am amazed at how many fair weather fans are here. Wandy's career was supposedly over because he lost to CroCop and Henderson. Rampage was supposedly "washed up" a few fights ago. Now he's supposedly unstoppable and Liddell and Shogun, the guys most were debating regarding the #1 LHW in the world, are supposedly washed up after a loss or two. Many have already turned on Fedor because he won't come to the UFC. It sickens me.

I understand what your trying to say but I think some of it is apples and oranges. Losing to CroCop and Henderson is one thing. Losing to Gonzaga and Kongo is another. Losing to Forrest (who I believe to be slightly above avg.) is another thing. Rampage lost to Wandy and Shogun, which is really two of the best LHW's in the last 3 plus years.
Its the performance Shogun put out there last night is what people are mad about. Same with CroCop. Something just doesn't feel right. How do you go from basically destroying top ranked fighters to just looking very lack luster against a far lesser fighter.

nice grief dude, i m sorry i mean TROLL
when shogun beat randleman, he wasn't roids but randleman was, that should do it about roids.
also about Jazuka, rumor has it the Fertittas brothers have connection to the mafia themselves and if you look past year the betting underdogs seems to win EVERY time, in pride the favorites were winning, if organized crime had to do something with it, it Pride would look more like what the UFC is today full of upsets!
thanks again troll.
