shogun via triangle!!!!
sooner or later the fight will go to the ground.
there we will see some sweet transitions and attempts by shogun.
coleman is dangerous in what he does, but he does not too many different things.
it is not like his ground and pound is really dangerous.
he only throws guys around.
time and technique have past him.
shogun still has to watch out for slams during his sub-attempts.
coleman will have a hard time...

Honestly, I have a hard time judging Coleman at this point in his career. The guys he has lost to have made everyone they faced look foolish. Coleman looked better against Cro Cop than Josh Barnett did, and he looked better against Fedor than Tim Sylvia did. To say Coleman can't hang because Fedor/Nog/Mirko made him look bad is foolish IMO. On the flip side, none of his most recent wins have told us anything about him either. Voorn had no business being in the ring with him, the Shogun fight was over too quick, and Frye had already devolved into a one-dimensional brawler.
He might be washed up.
He might not be.
It's really difficult to make a compelling argument one way or the other.

I guess Mir breaking Tim's arm was a fluke as well.

the arm broke because shogun posted improperly, not because coleman shot with the intent of breaking shogun's arm. Mir put an armbar on tim. armbars are designed to break arms. there is a difference.

The arm broke because Shogun made a first-day whitebelt mistake. There is a reason that every grappling martial art on the planet teaches to never post the arm. It's because posting your arm can get it snapped. Go to any grappling school of your choice and ask the instructor what happens if you consistently post your arm to break falls. They will all tell you the same thing.
Shogun's arm breaking was not a fluke. It was a validation of thousands of years of accumulated martial arts knowledge. Sensei's everywhere should show that clip to their whitebelts when teaching break falls.

Hey I just wanted to edit your post to how it should be and how it will be posted after January 24.
It's posts like this that cause people to hate Fedor.
I like Fedor as a fighter, but his delusional & disrespectful fans often leave me rooting for the other guy.
Does anyone remember how the 'Fedor is going to Zulu Arlovski' thread turned out? Because I recall Fedor fans talking the same shit about Arlovski having no chance.

SINCE WHEN IS SHOGUN BIGGER THAN FEDOR?? COLEMAN HAS A SIZE ADVANTAGE OVER SHOGUN UNLESS YOU CHECKED THEIR PEE-PEES.

Shogun will win this and then move on to fight the top guys he should be, while I think UFC will cut Coleman after a poor performance.

Counting out Coleman in this fight is dumb. This is MMA, where on any night anyone can win or lose.
But I'm still taking Shogun. Hope he comes back strong like the Pride days.
