Cro Cop to LHW

I'm sure everyone agree's Cro Cop should move to LHW. He has the upper body frame of a large MW or average LHW with the legs of a HW. He has a small jaw which is more vulnerable to flash KO's from heavyweight punches then LHW.

He created a legacy by stalking his prey, he was able to do this most effectively with smaller opponents aka W. Silva and 220-230 pound heavyweights. Everyone thinks he has lost skill or his edge, but nobody thinks its because he's fighting guys that are just too big for him. I'd say if he wants to maintain or further build his legacy he should move down a weight class.

Anyone think it will happen? Assuming he loses his next HW bout, does he retire or drop a weight class?

Did I mention his fists are the size of teenage girls, otherwise I think he'd have a lot more KO's via boxing. Most HW have monster mitts that do monster damage. Not hating, he is a beast, I could watch his OWGP fights daily!

Cro Cop has said several times that he can't make the cut to LHW. He says he would have to cut off a limb to make weight at 205.

I'm sure he could make 205 if he really needed to, he probably just doesn't want to. He's obviously alot more comfortable walking into the cage at a natural 225 than having to cut 20 pounds for a fight. Weight cutting isn't for everyone.

He walks around at a natural 220. Same weight as Rich Franklin who cuts to 185. I think he just needs a proper nutrition and weight cutting coach. Western fighters tend to cut alot more weight then foreign, typically european fighters. I think with the proper team Cro Cop could easily make a healthy 205. Its a 15lbs cut, almost the standard in MMA now with the increased competition.

No.
CroCop has said he could not cut the weight.
Even if he could, I'm sure you know he is way too proud to do so.
And he has done fine at HW in his career, there is no reason for him to drop down.

Deja Vu?
Has someone made this stupid thread before?

Nope not me. I don't agree. He should stay HW, and most likely, he will. Why drop weight class and win a lesser crown when the HW is the king of all. Mirko's too proud for that.

Seriously. He just got finished saying he wants to gain 10 lbs(and has) to help him against the bigger guys in the division, and people are thinking he's going to drop to LHW?
