Sherk might have crisper boxing skills, but he has stubby arms. BJ is the better striker.

First of all, Sherk said his boxing is better than Daddy's, not Penn's.
Second, Sherk's boxing is nothing like Matt Hughes'. Sherk is actually a decent technical boxer, with no power.
Third, GTFO.

Technically he probably has. Sean has been training boxing for about 12 years. BJ has the power advantage however.

Actually, Sherk's boxing skills are very underrated and far from shitty. Try watching some of his fights, the Nick Diaz one is the best recent example -- which he won due to his superior standup. To say Sherk's technical boxing skills are better than BJ's isn't a huge stretch and is probably true. But BJ certainly has more power, longer reach and has proven he can hold his own against some of the best. If nothing else, Sherk's boxing is effective in helping him set up takedowns. He's very good at changing levels and keeping his opponent guessing.
So he's not helpless on his feet by any stretch of the imagination. Good technical boxing skills, solid defense, good chin.

On the Savage Dog Show, Marcus Davis, a former Pro Boxer, seemed very impressed with BJ's boxing. And yeah, Sherk is technical, and has nothing on the feat for Penn whatsoever.

Sherk has good boxing, however he has no reach or power.
Who cares though who has better boxing, it's who has better striking that matters.

I'm glad Sherk thinks so, cause if he thinks he can bang with Penn he's in for a serious beating....
Penn will out strike Sherk without much risk cause of his reach advantage...
