This always seemed fishy to me, too. If he is innocent, why would he need an extension? to build a better case, that's why.

because every time someone goes to court and asks for an extension so they can present their case properly automatically means their guilty.

have you lived in the same world we live in for long, pretty much anytime you hire a lawyer to do any work for you and it involves anytype of hearing the first thing the lawyer does is file an extension.

The head of the CSAC said that Sherk had never heard of it. It was not a direct quote from Sherk and was probably misconstrued.

Because they only hold these hearings every couple months, and Sherk received the news about 10 days before the last hearing. That is not much time to find a lawyer and get all the details situated.
