After the Franca fight, I was saying that he looked pretty damn convincing and it would be hard to beat him. Then he got caught of steroids and I lost all the respect. How can anyone still respect a guy who gets caught and doesn't even admit using. No matter what he does in the cage from now on, he'll never have my respect. Though I don't think he gives a dookie.

Vs Franca, Sherk attempted at least 3 sub attempts in the first round alone. Credit Franca for being tough to sub, not the other way around.

Also Sherk faces top competition exclusively. The likelihood that a fight is going to go the distance is much greater against a top ten fighter.

I still credit Sherk for eating Francas knees at the beginging of every round and being able to hold him down after that... oh. I see now.
