Sometimes guys do it standing too (ie, Arlovski vs Werdum) but we rarely see it to the same degree there. If Sherk used his wrestling to get into position and then sub his opponents that'd be great. I'd like to be a fan of his. Unfortunately he doesn't. Can't really blame him too much because the rules in the UFC and a few other orgs encourage that style of fighting, but I still prefer fighters that actually show enough talent and desire to finish their opponents by knock out or sub instead of playing it safe with the LnP.

Did you watch the fight? Franca had a little to do with him not getting pounded on. Add knees on the ground and everyone would be scared to fight sherk. Oh ya, Fedor couldn't sub CC so I guess that makes him not so talented either then eh. Why can't you just realize that fights between two great fighters can end up being very close and can therefore be seen as boring.

Sherk was caught with steroids in his system, just because it was a small amount it doesn´t mean it makes no sense he is guilty, hell, it makes no sense he is INNOCENT like you claim, he got his cycle wrong and the drug didn´t leave his body in its entirety before he was tested.

I've said it before but here goes. Sherk taking deca makes no sense. It's used for gaining mass and horrible for cutting weight, both of which Sherk doesn't need. He didn't "fuck up his cycle" cuz deca stays in your system for over a year. Also, the machines used for testing Sherk weren't cleaned properly and already had roids on them and the whole case was handled like shit. If Sherk was guilty he would've gotten a year suspension, and not 6 months.

But nobody cares tho. Sherk is "boring" so nobody wants to hear why he is innocent.
