The ignorance of the Sherk haters is dumbfounding to me to say the least. 2 major points bother me the most. One, the shit talking about him using steroids and two, the shit talking about him LnPing
Think about this haters. Sherk is in a gym like 24/7 so the odds of him or one of his training or workout partners not being educated about steroids is pretty close to zero. Deca is a very popular steroid. Sherk had to of known about how long it stays in your system. Couple this with the fact that there was very low levels (compared to people who took the steroid for performance enhancement purposes and got caught) of nandralone in his system (why would he do so little, it would have no noticeable effects other then testing positive) and it all adds up to that Sherk didn't cheat. He may have been screwed over by some supliment, screwed over by his juice dealer (maybe sherk got an unwanted mix) or he just found a way to make his body produce more nandralone, but it makes no sense that he would take the chance of testing positive for an amount of steroids that would practically make no difference. So common sense tells us that Sherk is most likely innocent of taking deca.
Next is the shit talking about him lnping. Sherk did not stop for one second in his relentless attack on franca. He constanly worked for position while franca had to work for one desperation move after another because of Sherk constantly gaining better position. This is not the definition of lnp. Sherk never stopped working. It seems to me that the ones that say he is boring and that he lnps are either uneducated new fans or they simply are not true MMA fans and they would rather see kickboxing with small gloves.
In conclusion I think that Sherk gets way too much hate for such an amazing fighter.

I've never had anything against Sherk as a person. I don't like that he never finishes fights. And the whole steroids thing is over and done and should never be brought up again. But none the less he is a good 155er and I watched his all access when he fought Franca and he has a pretty vigorous training routine.

Sean Sherk is an extreme physical specimen with an amazing skill set. With that said, in his 8 fights in the UFC, he has finished only 2 of them. And has finished no opponent in over 2 years.

He's had 3 fights in 2 years. And look who he fought.

I've never really found sherk to be boring. Guess it's all just a matter of personal taste.

And I've found that a lot of the people that hate on Sherk are the ones who have never trained before. I'm not putting those people down in any way nor am I saying you aren't allowed to watch fighting unless you train, but that is something I noticed. I know that the friends I watched UFC 73 with trained BJJ with me, and the three of us were just amazed watching Sherk as he COMPLETELY DOMINATED Franca like that on the ground. He's just an incredible grappler and I couldn't keep my jaw closed watching that fight. I was just amazed with how easy he made it look.

Then I come on Sherdog and everybody is whining and calling the fight boring.

not to fans that enjoy all the aspects of mma. To me its about seeing the most dominant method of fighting. So I see it as the strikers better learn how to defend a takedown instead of just thinking that wrestlers are boring.
