Sherk and Barnett

I am pretty big fans of both these fighters. Sherk and Barnett both tested positive for steroids in the UFC and both deny using them, but that is beyond the point. While Sherk is constantly bashed I cannot say the same for Barnett who seems to be well liked on Sherdog. Is it just because most of the people on here started watching mma long after Barnett was in the UFC? I'm curious to know people's input on this and find out if people are pretty hypocritical on the whole steroid subject.

I also dislike both, just like Tim Sylvia and Royce. I just don't see the point in cheating after you put that much effort into training.

It mostly has to do with their attitude and fighting styles. Sherk is about as boring as it get and has a slightly cocky prickish matt hughes thing going on. While Barnett is a funny, exciting, and just likable guy who did roids back in the early days.

Barnett's actually a very exciting fighter, unlike sherk.
Besides, Barnett went down the hard road and worked his way back to the top.

well since barnett couldnt roid up in the ufc he went to japan where roiding is cool its the in thing2do,so we respect that.sherk is trying to roid up today in the us where roiding is not cool.

Great opinions guys I figured a lot of guys liked Barnett because his style is awesome i'm just also wondering if you guys are trashing sherk for the steroids as well or maybe if Josh won you back over time because he did test a long time ago.

Even without the steroid fiasco people on Sherdog didn't like Sherk much due to his style/attitude. The steroid thing is just more fuel for the fire.
