We can all throw out stats that fit our specific argument, when the truth about P4P rankings is recency is one of the most heavily weighted factors. Recently, GSP and Silva have done a lot more. Fedor has done more lifetime, but not recently. If Fedor destroys AA, he may move up but GSP or Penn will probably take over the P4P slot around that same time.

This i agree with he gets hated on because he doesn't match up well against the MW #1... I hope he shows a lot of nay sayers against Hendo...

Last I checked, every ranking system has Anderson Silva as #1 p4p.
Also, last I checked, Silva won the open ESPN poll, not a closed poll of biased closet Pride fanboys.

Objectively, Silva, Penn, and GSP have all fought stronger competition than Fedor.

You can't argue rationally with these people.
I've tried so hard. It just doesn't work.

Penn??? who since 06 lost at WW to hughes & GSP, then dropped to LW where he beat pulver, stevenson & Sherk, sherk being the only legit top LW IMO... I can agree with GSP though...

Ranking are subjective. They don't mean a lot.

Penn, GSP, and Anderson have all faced tougher competition objectively.
Still, Fedor should be number 2, at least until Penn/GSP is resolved.

You read the site! Cool. Did you notice that it has Fedor No. 1 by a decent margin? I don't want to use the "F" word, but you don't succeed in convincing anyone by sending them to a site with objective ratings that contradicts your crazy point.

Yamamoto hasn't fought for a year, Faber just got his ass kicked, and Alvarez is on the list. I'm not sure what you are complaining about. These lists are subjective, so you can't expect to agree 100% with them.
