Fedor is number one. When he destroys Arlovski people will find a reason to still not rate him number 1

Forrest Griffin is fucking massive for 205 - why is he in the p4p list? He's probably bigger than Fedor. I think Sherdog should stop doing these p4p lists, they're just gonna confuse millions of already misinformed posters

two different weight classes yea, but at the moment silva fought them, they had the self weight as himself. but fedor is able to smash the shit out of more bigger opponents. so what the hell are you talking about? where is your argument?

yeah tim was 11 or 10, right?....

we live in the present, but you cant take the rankings from today if you want to see who was top 10 @ the moment fedor fought them. crocop is the best example. he was nr. 2 or 3 before fedor fought him, now he is outside the top 10, the self with most other of his opponents.

You are living in the past there, comparing career accomplishments.

Career-wise Fedor has the edge.

Currently, the number one fighter in the world is Silva.

What did Silva do to advance his rank from last time? He hasn't even fought since the last rankings.

Exactly right.

This post should be mandatory reading for every sherdog fanboy who doesn't understand the difference between career accomplishments and current rankings.

How did he advance?

He's been number 1 for awhile now.

What? When was the last rank. He's fought more recently than Fedor.
