i actually agree, everyone argues silva - fedor, people need to pay more attention to GSP, owell, after he fights BJ, and hopefully wins, who knows, he might become N1. but then again fedor fights around there so ya never know...

Fedor at anything but #1 makes NO sense at this point in his career or anybody else's.
He is what he was when he was put at #1, and has only won since then.
Dumb.

Why should he be ahead?
Seriously?
Silva since 2005:
11-1 record
All wins by stoppage. NO decisions.
Even in his "loss" he ko'ed his opponent.
4 fights against legit top 10 competition, including a fight against the former #1 fighter in his class. All finished by the second round.
6 wins overall in the first round.
If you want to talk career, then sure Fedor has the edge over everyone.
But current p4p best?
Silva all the way.

Im just sayin that because Fedor fights at HW doesnt mean he should get extra credit. Its weak compared to 205. Randy found success at HW after being KOd twice at LHW. Brandon Vera has done nothing at LHW and was good at HW. At least Anderson is movin about looking for challenges.
Fedor wouldnt be fighting at HW if he thought he was at a disadvantage. He may like to stay fresh and have better cardio by not cutting weight. He may like to be the faster fighter in all his fights. Who knows, only him

So by your rationale, in 20 years, when Fedor has been retired and may be in a wheelchair, Fedor should still be #1 because he was #1 awhile ago.
I looked at the list and thought it was a pretty good list. I would have moved some guys around a bit and maybe swapped Page for Kid, but overall the list was pretty solid.

I agree with the top 5 or 6. In that order. Yes, GSP should be #2.
It's all a matter of what have you done for me lately. Even when it comes to P4P rankings. The winner of BJ/GSP will most likely be #1, if not, they'll be #2. If Fedor gets a dominating win over AA, he'll also move up.
I don't agree with Thiago Alves being on the list. Forrest is on there because he beat the two guys that were previously #1 at LHW at the time he fought them. I'm not really sure why Rampage is still on there.
There are some obvious omissions, which people in this thread have already mentioned, but overall, it's not THAT bad. It's a p4p list, nobody is going to agree 100%.
