I agree with Sherdog's rankings with Anderson being 1, GSP at 2, Fedor at 3, and Penn at 4. Spot on correct. This is a current ranking not what they accomplished 5 years ago.

QFT.... Fedor is one of the worlds best, but he should have to fight a little more often than he is lately in order to be considered the best p4p in the world! Silva is MUCH more active, so if there's to be an argument for him or Fedor, that should definitely be it. The truth is that if Fedor were to fight five times this year he would almost DEFINITELY collect five more wins, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen, unfortunately.

Well, beating Sylvia didn't help him so I can't imagine that beating AA would. The only thing Fedor can do to get to No. 1 is sign with the UFC. Then he can feast on inferior competition all he wants, and no one will mind.

I know the Fedor haters on here really are scrapping the barrell, they'll say anything to put him down.
Fedor avoiding LHW? Fuck off! If those LHW guys are so fucking good why don't they not cut weight and fight in their natural division? which is far fucking easier? I'll tell you why, because they're scared, simple as that. HW's may not be the most technical fighters in MMA but they have tough chins and hit far heavier than LHW's.
You guys just don't realise how fearless Fedor is, you make it sound like anyone can get in the ring/cage with a 350lb monster and beat them. Fuckin fucktards on here wind me up.
Rant over
EDIT: Rampage said it best during the Fujita fight "Sure glad I ain't a heavy weight"

Fedor wouldnt be fighting at HW if he thought he was at a disadvantage. He may like to stay fresh and have better cardio by not cutting weight. He may like to be the faster fighter in all his fights. Who knows, only him

I gotta disagree with you on the Brandon Verra at heavy weight statement: Ever since he's returned to action after his long self inflicted lay off he's been a terrible fighter... Just terrible. Doesn't matter what weight class he fights in, the guy simply lost all drive to be an exciting fighter.
The difference between competition in the heavier weight classes versus that of the lighter weights is this: Smaller guys move faster, are more limber, have more energy to throw away, and are generally more athletic so there is a ready abundance of dudes to fill the light ranks. Heavy weights however shallower the pool may be is filled with guys with the power to knock you out with one punch. Also the heavy weight division as a whole has great depth, the only problem is the fact that they are spread thin across various MMA promotions. If the UFC had assimilated the entire Pride heavy weight roster it would be one of the most exciting divisions in the sport.

Silva
Always fights the smaller guys
GSP
Always fights the smaller guys
Fedor
Kicks ass from Feather weight to super super heavy...
HMC would smash GSP and Silva.. Yes i said it.. Fedor P4P no 1 by a mile. And were they all to fight each other, i think because of styles, GSP might have a better shot at beating Fedor than Silva, but both loose brutally
