Here's the correct top five:

1. Fedor

2. Penn
3. Kid
4. Silva
5. Torres

Why don't you put GSP at 1? I don't get that, you said it your self, no one has fought more top competition than him(though Fedor is pretty close). I'd put GSP over Silva easily.

I don't see how GSP is ranked over Fedor either.

Fedor has not lost since 2000. He was the Pride Heavyweight champion for 3 years.

GSP is good but common. GSP won the belt and lost it to Matt Serra.
None of his last 8, fedor has won his last how many??? GSP has fought tougher opposition a single slip up doesn't completely discredit a fighter of one of the toughest divisions, his defences have all been against top opponents, some of silva's 8 have included: James Irvin, Chris Leben and Patrick Cote...

Why would we give a guy who fights once per year the #1 ranking?

His only win this year came over Big Tim, who lost to Randy (Who in his next fight was knocked out by Brock).... Then beat Brandon (Who lost his next to Werdum).... Then Lost to the Nogera.

Thats not very impressive for me. Now that Big Tim is set for life he doesn't really care all that much about the wins.

Anderson has fought constantly, took out Hendo, fought in a 2nd weight devision, and dealt with a guy who tucked his chin and just waited.

GSP and BJ Penn both have good arguments to be ahead of Fedor, and whomever wins their superfight should be.

HOWEVER..... A win over Andrei, (who has been on a winning streak).... Would in my mind push Fedor to a 1/2 spot untill his competition fights all year and he takes 2009 off

I'm sorry but bj who holds a 1-2 at WW and a 3- 0 at LW, should go ahead in the pound if he beats GSP??? Doesn't make sense to me, and Randy beat an injured Tim Sylvia and decisioned him, where fedor took on a 100% tim sylvia and didn't have to cut weight and destroyed him...

As a UFC fan, I won money betting on Silva against both Leben and Franklin.

The Serra loss is too recent for me.

I put GSP at #3 pending the Penn fight.
