I realize this is in the wrong section but this is the most viewed so I will start this here and let the mods move it!!

First let me make it clear that I have NO affiliation w/ Sherdog nor do I know anyone (Jeff, Josh, etc...) affiliated w/ it! I have been a fan of MMA for quite some time now, have studied Judo, Muay Thai, and some JJ over the years. W/ that said I had heard of Sherdog late in 03-early 04 but never really checked it out. Well once I did I had found it to pretty damn informative and actually kicked myself in the ass for not following up on it earlier!! I never registered as I have never really had the extra time to read or reply to thread after thread like some of you however I finally did manage to register back in Dec. 2004 yet still havent hit the 100 post mark!! Like I previously said this site has helped me answer more questions than I can remember and has brought up many new ones. There are MANY knowledgable people that frequent this site, at the same time there are many people on here that I honestly have no clue where the hell they are coming from! As of late I simply cant count all the posts in one way or another knocking this site or people who work for it!! WHY????? I honestly dont understand it, this site is FREE and gives you access to information that you would NOT find anywhere else yet people still find time to try ant knock it!!! There are people w/ numerous accounts, people who get banned then just open other accounts and continue the actions which got them banned originally!?!?! If people are taking the time to make a thread about how much they dislike sherdog then those people should just move on and find another site, there are others out there!! What really pushed me past the point of deciding whether or not to make this thread was reading some posts on how Josh Gross did not look like people expected, or how dorky he looked, etc..... WTF!!!??? If you are on this board trying to find a soul mate leave now and try e harmony!!! Again this site is FREE and gives you access to more shit than you could find in any mag., newspaper, radio show, TV show all at the tips of you fingers!!! I realize there are new fans and that is great it means the sport is finally growing at a rapid enough pace to get momentum!!
Thats all the rant I can give for now and I realize it is probably too long for most of you to read (understandable) but if you have the time and patience please do so!
And to all the people out there that ask the stupid shit....QUIT!!! I mean think about what your saying before you type and if it doesnt sound all that good then just dont type it, chances are if you do a search there will be numerous other posts on it!!!

In a nutshell...yeah! I mean if people are taking the time to "bash" it then just save your typing finger and go to another site! This site has done more for the sport than anyone of the people who are/were disappointed in how Josh Gross looks!!!!

Yeah, on don't get all the Sherdog bashing. If people want UFC propaganda, why don't they stay on the UFC's official site, i'm sure it has a forum. I mean, there was some guy criticising Gross for writing an article that looked into the motivation for Pride and UFC to make the Silva vs Chuck fight. WTF? It seems a lot of people here would rather the Sherdog writers acted more like cheerleaders, and less like a journalists.

And yes, this is a MMA website not a UFC or Pride website. I am aware that people will disagree and thats great, I mean some people on here give great arguments and different views to see things but some people just dont get it! MMA is a SPORT, mma is NOT ufc, mma is NOT pride, mma is NOT rotr, etc.......

But I guess that's what you get when there are hundreds of thousand members from all over the world, you're bound to attract ignorant people. Luckily there are some good knowledgeable posters in this forum which makes this forum very exciting and informative at times.
