ever since his whipdowns against rampage and couture, his only significant accomplishments have been to find a way to neutralize couture and ortiz (who also couldnt take chuck down and lost trying to stand with him). btw obviously, both are ground and pounders.

so great, chuck learned superior take down defense

and since being champion, all he did was beat couture again and an old horn.

that aint gonna help with the raging bull that is silva that has superb striking and doesnt care much for the gnp.

my point is, we havent recently seen chuck beat someone that can strike very well.... when we saw him fight a faster striker, he got beat down by rampage.

he may be able to, but nothing yet has shown me he can succeed against wandy and his style

btw, i like chuck, jus making an observation

So you make a new account to post this crap? I can see why you wouldn't want to post this with your regular account, because people will ridicule this garbage. Congrats on being weak.

Co-sign-Wandy is the odds on favorite to win

I think even if Chuck isn't on Silva's level, he's at least very close to it.

Don't get too swept up in Liddell's failure when he ventured to Japan, because Silva went through the same thing in the US not too long before. I think Wanderlei has the edge in this match, but this could go either way.

He has only fought ground fighters lately, but I think his entire game has improved. He is definitely on Wandy's level, the fight could go either way - that is why so many people want to see it.

a) get off wandys nuts

b) neutralize randy and tito? He ktfo'ed randy with ease, twice. and handed tito his first ko loss in a long time.

c) Chuck beat Babalu also, something nobody, including Shogun, could do in his last 10 fights.

Its a pick em fight, stop acting like Chuck is a nobody, it jst makes you look stupid, and perpetuates the idiocy of white belts

Funny how people keep bringing up Chucks lose to Rampage to supposedly prove that he's not that good but when you mention how Wandy lost to Vitor and Tito that doesn't count.Lets face it this should be a great fight could go either way both capable of finishing the other one of very unlikly this goes to a judges dec

Chucks record is more impressive, Wandy's is full of lots of cans.

I think people fail to realise that fighters tend to suffer losses resulting in them going back to the drawing board to improve their game, and come back a better fighter. Look at Chuck vs. Randy. Randy somewhat outstruck Chuck in their first fight (leaving me to believe he surprised Chuck and threw him off his game), and overall just manhandled him. Chuck went back home and came back a better fighter, twice. Now I like both these fighters a lot and I really don't know who will win this, but lets not cound Chuck out because of his shitty performances with Rampage and Randy.
