so, i got a hair cut 3hrs prior to the fights starting. this cute young girl Victoria cut my hair as we discussed the main event. we were both pulling for the 38yr old Chuck Liddell in hope he reclaims the belt before making his exit. she told me she wants him to win but predicted a huge horrible upset. she was so right. when i watched Chuck hit the ground i grabbed my head with both hands, i felt my short hair, & got chill remembering what she said. one very intuitive girl to say the least.

as for all these Rashad Evans bandwagon jumpers, you would expect there to be many rich people with all these silly threads. this isn't as big a shock as Gonzaga over Cro Cop or Sera over GSP in their first fight. Evans is good there is no denying that. the fact he lacks in character being arrogant & extremely conceited many people can't help but hope he gets stopped. the same goes for Brock laughing at Hearing or BJ Penn's antics after stopping Sherk. so many sheeple on the website. for those who actually picked Rashad Evans to win, cheers; i hope you won some huge sum of money. i seen the odds. one hell of a purse to win. even the pros were betting against Rashad.

if you recap the fight, Evans ran away the first round losing it for sure however, he made good with what he gave up as he used it to feel out and figure out Liddell. Machida has been said to be the worst match up for Liddell. Evans has great boxing skill & hands along with some awesome footwork not to mention great wrestling. prior to the fight, i disagreed with using the "Jardine blue print" incorporating leg kicks to soften up Liddell because it was against what Rashad naturally does. Rashad is slightly shorter then Liddell so he made himself smaller in a good portion of the fight throughout round one. he was doing like the great "Sugar" Ray Robinson & Ray Leonard, sticking & moving though some could say running. regardless, he gave up a round in points but maximized the opportunity. for instance, if you watch the Wanderlei fight, Chuck went at him but threw combinations. Chuck didn't do this & Rashad figured him out early on within the first 5minutes. Chuck loaded up on one shot. typically, Liddell counter punches, he closes in on a fighter finding the right range, and then he unloads. Rashad kept moving to prevent this from happening. he himself through a flurry of punches but he never stood in one spot. he kept Liddell off while Liddell was throwing wide ... timed the uppercut Liddell through from the outside? (likely watching how Jackson stopped Chuck throwing a over hand body shot from the outside then circling right of an orthodox fighter) and he caught Chuck throwing a over hand right but from a safe distance and still not as wide as Liddell. lights out.


i think its silly for anyone too be now jumping on the bandwagon. it was an impressive win. i have never seen Chuck out cold before till last night. personally, i think Rashad has better foot work, boxing skill, technique, lacking in power, wrestling, but he exploited Chuck's weak points being his wide shots & his stand still mentality. guys like Mike Tyson or Chuck Liddell or Tito Trinidad need to be at a stand still to drop there huge bombs. Evans did it right. Liddell didn't really taste anything serious from Rashad up and until that point. he really went for a home run with that silly uppercut which i might add is suppose to be an in close punch as is the case with a left hook however, it could be landed but not the smartest as we all seen why. i still laugh cause everyone was on Chuck's cock a few years ago, then it was Sera who was going to take GSP, then it was Gonzaga being the man. now everyone is on about Rashad.
