I also hope to see Tanner back in the contender spot, now that he is working with a team again it seems like we will see a more focused Evan
i agree.

thanks to the original poster for the post and sharing your thoughts.

hegemon1, i think we will definitely see tanner back in a contender position, and a title match at some point. i know his time off has done good things for him. he went through a tough period after his win against levens, but he is back to training hard with a good team and is completely focussed on getting the title back.

I don't like the Loiseau/Silva matchup either. Loiseau/Swick and Silva/Marquardt are good IMO. Good post Zeke but lets worry about the here and now... the future will look after itself.

That's because you're a witless keyboard warrior who wears 5 pounds of womans black eye shadow over your face who's more interested in his internet persona then the sport of MMA. Keep fucking yourself dweeb.

You also know I hope, that it is unrealistic that a single organization is going to be have ALL TEN of the Top 10 right? wow you got all of that from my post
i didnt mention anything about guys being in Top 10 or not
i didnt call anybody a can or less than decent fighters
those were actually good matchups
sherdoggers mentallity is so corrupted and always take things in the negative
thats why i hardly post here, nothing but bashing going on
UFC bashing, TUF bashing, n00b bashing, hell even some Pride bashing

Not sure why, but I'm really not that interested in middleweight. Seems like Franklin's just too far ahead of the pack. I don't give marquadt much chance against anderson and give little chance to anderson beating franklin

That is what you said. If I jumped the gun on you I apologize. I thought you were implying that can comment on the fights I suggested, such as Tanner vs Doerkson, Swick vs. Terrell, etc. If not, sorry that I misinterpreted.

Here is how the UFC sees it.
UFC 62: AUGUST 26 IN LAS VEGAS

-Chuck Liddell vs. Renato "Babalu" Sobral
-Sean Sherk vs. Kenny Florian (for the vacant UFC Lightweight Title)
-David Loiseau vs. Mike Swick
-David Terrell vs. Anderson Silva OR Nathan Marquardt

UFC 64: OCTOBER 14 IN LAS VEGAS

-Rich Franklin vs. TBA (possibly Anderson Silva)

All of these are great fights.

Perhaps you are underestimating Anderson Silva. Even if not, I still don't see why one would not care about the Middleweight division simply because Franklin is a stud. That's like not caring about Pride's Heavyweight division because Fedor is the best.

I like your picks and analysis. I hope that the UFC will stop setting up rematches and start putting on fresh matches that we have never seen. Lets also hope that they will set up fights that can be competitive. Looking forward to seeing Dean Lister, Doerkson,
Salavarry (although I believe he is signed with WFA), Terrell, Tanner, Quarry, Luigi fight soon. I am most looking forward to a possible matchup of Anderson Silva vs David Losieau.
