Just like I expected, early rockage from the Spider and ending Leben quickly. Anderson Silva is a beast, obviously if people watched his fights before he was announced to fight a popular UFC face. I know the new fans are going to be disappointed, but this was expected from anyone who knows MMA.

I like Leben, but I dont think I can say I'm very suprised. Leben has heavy hands, but hes too slow and sloppy for Silva. Silva's got some of the cleanest striking in the business (up there with Gomi, Arlovski, and Penn) and he picked him apart.
Damn good fight. Basically what I expected, just a lot faster.
Rich's chin isnt exactly on par with Leben's, but his striking is much better. Silva/Franklin will be interesting.

I was watching the move that move of Leben's that Rogan called an attempted "takedown" in slo-mo on my tivo.
Leben was actually going for a haymaker-left but silva stepped back and smacked him straight in the face. Leben just flew into the cage which is why it looked like a failed takedown.

Leben sucks. His marquee talent is a strong chin, but we found out tonight what happens when a B-level striker with an iron chin fights a world class striker. Answer: iron chin or not, Leben got KTFO.
I strongly hope that this beautiful event will humble Leben so that he will quit flapping his pie hole about how he's the greatest fighter in the world.
