Sakuraba x Rickson Gracie on K-1 - 3 million dollar purse

Rickson accepted the match for 3 million dollars. It was one of the principal reasons behind Sakuraba going to Hero's.
This has been rumoured in Brazil and reached my ears through countless minor sources, but now Royler has declared it so.

And this months GRACIE Magazine brings and interview with Paulão Filho in which he elaborates on his comment that "Rickson is unbelievable" with quotes like
"Rickson can beat anyone up to 93kg" and "There was nothing I could do against him on the ground, standing up, or on the clinch, he negated me completely".

So I guess he´s not too old.

It´s not a question of hoping. It´s set. Everybody knows, Rickson has been training for 6 months now in Rio, at Gracie Humaitá. Probably it will be Saku's first fight at K-1, and likely to be set against either Bushido PRIDE or the 2nd round of the GP.
