You don't need wrestling if you are willing to punch your way in and clinch. people forget about how wide Silva throws. He hits hard and throws alot of strikes at a time but if Nog can get in on Crocop, Silva is no different.

IMO it's not an easy fight for both.
Nog's ground game is better than Wandy's, and Silva has the edge on striking. But I don't think Wandy can KO Big Nog's iron head, and maybe he is a little too tall for his knees.
I think Nog has more chances to win this fight, either by submission or decision. Anyway, Silva is very strong, and has a decent submission defence. I'm sure he can defend very good at anything Nogueira tries on him, maybe he can even ground and pound to a decision, but I don't see it happening.

Again, neither of them would have an easy fight for sure, but I give the edge to Nogueira.

the only people who think Silva beat Arona are Silva, and 2 dumb judges. Everyone else who saw the fight knows Arona won.

I see this playing out much like Fedor vs Nog. Nog absorbing a lot of punishment until Wand gets judges decision. Of course there is ALWAYS KO possibility in favor of wand. Thats my 2 cents.

Nog has great orthodox boxing skills and Wandy's loops and wild punches won't work with him.On the ground...Wand won't try it,or at least shouldn't

Nog has the best MMA submission game in the sport. If anyone can sub Wand it's Nog...the fact that he's bigger only helps his cause.

Wand doesn't strike from the guard like Fedor....also Wand wouldn't be able to take Nog down like Fedor did. Nog is a better grappler then Wand

I see the fight going like this:

Nog striking with Wandy and using his straight punches and reach advantage to throw Wand off his game similar to how Randy's straight punches got to Chuck in their first fight. He'd then get the clinch and take him down using his size and good technique. Nog has great takedowns from the clinch. Nog would then sub him or more likely win a decision.

Wand can't KO Nog and i don't think he can take him down either.

We'll see when Nog's legs are wrapped around Wandy's neck and Wandy's getting triangled.

This would be a great match. On one hand, Nog is not the best person at takedowns, so the question is whether he can take down Silva effectively. On the other hand, Nog is extremely hard to knock out. I can't believe what his chin could take. And one more thing, Vanderlei might be equally as hard to submit.
It would be a great fight, I think it would be very exciting, I would love to see it.
