The best part was the sherdoggers looking at his mugshot and saying that his appearance was the result of meth.

Can you at least give a source if you're going to make an allegation like that? I just checked Wikipedia and although Kimo was busted for steroids and "illegal stimulants" after the Shamrock fight, if you follow the story to its source each of the stimulants seems to be a legal ingredient in OTC products, like fat burners.
The second article on this page has the story (By Iole)
http://www.ergogenics.org/92.html
If anyone knows of a connection between the 3 stimulants listed and Methamphetamine, a correction is welcome.

No one makes that mistake. The UFC's lawyer probably got his hands on this case and reduced the charges for their former fighter, therefore causing all reporting on the subject prior to the new verdict to be incorrect, and in need of edits and appologies. Despite the naysayers, Dana and the UFC would do almost anything to keep a positive report with the public about their fighters and business in general.
|
let me get this straight... you think dana and his lawyers got the cops to change the drug test results, and ditch the actual evidence?
dana, his lawyers, and the ufc don't have that kind of power, they can certainly plead kimo's case well and get him a reduction but they certainly can't change the charge from meth to weed. it doesn't happen like that, in particular with cases already in the public eye.

Nice sig quote! Ben Gurion was a terrorist! Zionists love to ignore this part of history when justifying Israel's continued occupation and terror against the Palestinian population.

I'm guilty of the same thing in regards to Dan Quinn. I have no evidence that he is on meth, but coming from a town that was plagued by the drug, I have to say he certainly exhibits the behavior. And, yeah, Kimo looked pretty rough.

but hey, if all journalists posted ERRONEOUS reports, such as you say, due to false information or whatever the case it, we'd all be living in a world of fake information. it'd be like waking up and watching the onion on tv. you are a shithead. plain and simple.

You jackass, when you are a journalist you SHOULD dig deep. But the reality is that every news source in the world reports things that sources tell them. When the sources are wrong they report what really happened. Kimo is no angel so why would anyone have reason to question him being arrested for something he already has a history with? If Robert Downey Jr. got arrested and sources said he had cocaine in his pocket every news outlet in the world would report it and when it turned out he only had weed they would update the story stating that previous reports were incorrect. It happens everyday. Like it or not, we are still just a bunch of mushroom people sitting in the dark taking the shit they feed us. Props to Sherdog for not only reporting the actual events but also calling attention to their error because lets face it, the only reason we are having this discussion is because Sherdog reminded us what they said in the first place.
