Okay first of all, i'm not a dana supporter by any means.

However I did always agree with him that sherdog is definitely not a decent source for journalism.

I won't go into my disliking the "writing" of people like Rossen (and that other dbag I completely stopped reading ages ago and have sadly forgotten his name) or the bullshit "Loretta is a veteran journalist with high knowledge and experience in the field"... Give me a fucking break, all her shit has always been weak and she's just as dumb as most of the other "journalists" that out of nowhere flooded MMA when it started flourishing.

But I mean, how the fuck do you have "srs bidness" sources and write a front page article claiming that a (true) veteran fighter has been found with METH both on him, and in his system... quite the fucking mad reputation ruiner... and then... "O WAIT GUYZ NVRM IT WAS POT LULZ SILLY O US, WE HAVE SRS BIDNESS SOURCES THO>>SRSLY".

really? fucking jokes... no fucking wonder you don't get any journalistic cred...

it's too bad because i'm sure this retardation would've been avoided should they have hired that editor that they were planning at first (instead of loretta hunt)... I forgot his name already (sadly) but I remember there being this huge fuss where he was hired for like two weeks, leaving his job (as an actual editor in the real world out there, instead of fan boy amateur shit) and then getting fucked over by getting replaced out of nowhere ...

Either way, props to loretta! Keep up the good rep!

Yeah I agree, I'm not sure what half of that "srs" shit meant...

Besides, look at Kimo's mugshot, that shit screams meth. And I've seen Cops, they always pull the "oh but it's not my car, I didn't know that was in there!" routine.

Nah but seriously, everyone makes mistakes, as do Sherdog, what do you want, a personal apology? I'm surprised they even corrected themselves, many other sides would have just written something like "Kimo update" and THEN wrote about the correction.

an official apology to kimo would be nice though, who the fuck wants to be labeled as a fucking meth head?

there's a HUGE difference between meth and pot, i would really be pissed if i was in his position.

Actually Kimo has been caught with Meth before, and actually tested positive for it after the Shamrock fight if I remember correctly. Either way Sherdog dropped the ball on this one.

I ranted about this in today's earlier thread about "Kimo's Transformation."

Really irresponsible on Sherdog's part.

If they could fuck up the facts in a story like Kimo's arrest, then how far fetched is it that they were full of shit about the "UFC limiting Manager access to fighter's backstage" story...especially when Hunt cited "anonymous sources."
