REDBELT movie questions

I just heard about a movie called Redbelt that is written by David Mamet. It is about a Jiu-Jitsu fighter in L.A. who fights underground MMA matches.
1. Has anyone hear about this?
2. Are any big name fighters going to be in it?

Mamet kicks ass so I am expecting good things.

Chiwetel Ejiofor is said to be staring in it.

I can't wait for an MMA version of Karate Kid to come out starring Johnny from the first one.

Why are all MMA fights in the movies underground bouts?
