The recent picture of sherk is no doubt shot with someone's tiny personal camera and shot with a flash...which immediately flattens ANYONE out. Plus Sherk is drenched with sweat...which will always make you look smoother and less "rock hard".

Sherk's weigh in pic:
1) He's completely dry and not sweaty making him look rock hard and chiseled.
2) He's flexing
3) He has dramatic lighting over his head enhancing every curve of his musculature. (you see or don't see muscle because of shadows....check your self out in a mirror with all the lights on, then look at yourself with one light hanging over your head and you'll see a dramatic difference)
4) He was depleted of all water to make weight most likely.

He basically looks to be about the same size.

Someone who is "ripped" can actually look bigger than someone who actually weighs more and has more muscle on his body.

You make a good point the light does make a big difference and so does the fact that he's flexing. I guess those guys have never had some decent muscle and wouldn't know the difference
