Dude, nobody forces you to read these posts. They're pretty much all clearly labelled. If you don't want to talk about it and don't care, don't. Otherwise, just for the sake of consistency, I hope you track down every other forum on the internet and tell every other person on Earth that what they are interested in is total bullshit too. Good luck with your little crusade though.

Good one and you are right.
Don't know if this guy knows but money makes the world go round. People don't only care what fighters make but people always care what everone makes. Thats why people say they want their kids to be doctors or lawyers not love what they do and sit around the house. Glad this kid is going to hold himself to a higher standard then the rest of world though.

whatever, you people missed my point completely...
I'm not suggesting putting a gag order on the words "pay" or "salary" but I'm sick of random idiots crying a river about how much fighter X makes as though that fighter is putting food on the posters table.
Ya we get it...some people think fighters are underpaid, some think they're overpaid, some, like myself, think that all celebrities and athletes are paid EXACTLY what the market has valued them at, hence the specified contract, and the athlete's subsequent acceptance...
maybe you missed my point, maybe i'm a douche, lets just let the thread fade into obscurity cuz no one's mind is changing...
p.s. LOL @ the guy who lumped fighters in with police and fireman who he feels are underpaid...thats fuckin classic

Sorry that we care that a guy who got absolutley fucked up by cheick kongo only got $7000 for his effort. (even though he would of gotten a fair bit from sponsors)
