But Silva should belong in the OWGP. You must have seen the OWGP 2nd round right? It brought in some class and some real meaning to the GP itself because now it's a real Open Weight Grand Prix.

The real question isn't about Silva, it should be about, what the hell was Nishijima, Yoshida, Tokada, Zulu, Colossus over Coleman? even doing in the OWGP in the first place????????

That's the real question.

Yoshida should be in it.

The others are in there because it's either a great upset, or a good KO.

Face it, Yoshida will never, ever, ever, ever, EVERRRR! Win a Grand PRIX !! I'm sorry. Besides, this is the OWGP ABSOLUTE !! The best of the best were supposed to be in this GP including Fedor. I love PRIDE but the name isn't living to the BILL.

I can't wait for Final Conflict though, it will be good regardless.

While MMA purists might want the 'best of the best' in the owgp, the fact is Pride does it to make money. and the japanese fans seem to love the freak shows. so they tossed a few of them into the gp, while making the draws such that most of them wouldnt make it out of the first round. so from the second round on it's pretty much a legit GP.

Fedor WOULD have been in the gp had he not had the hand injury, lets just hope that he comes back at 100% because Fedor isn't Fedor if he has to hold back on his punches.

But what do you expect, this is the company that employs Giant Silva.

Still PRIDE can bounce back from that and make it better because now it's like the GP has now become a GP where they're really fighting to become the next opponent for the PRIDE HW KING FEDOR. And that fight might take place on Oct. 21st in the U.S. Awesome.
