everyone is couting rashad out because he's not as big a name yet, but I think he will continue to surprise people for a while.

I must have missed the 'pick'em apart from the outside' part in the liddell fight, i remember rashad doing everything possible not to engage, chuck showed his lack of footwork and came bundling forwards with his defensive hand by his side then he got clobbered with that big right...
And lets not compare strike defence between chuck and rampage, rampages major weakess is leg kicks which i would assume he is working dilligently on...

Rashad will beat Rampage. Probably by UD. Rampages boxing has improved greatly, but it's still just a traditional style of boxing. This style is great against brawlers, but not so great against fighters who gameplan for it (Lindland, Griffin). Recently we observed Rampage's style fail against a slow, rigid and defensively inferior Forrest Griffin so what makes everyone think Rampage's style will be successful against the lightning quick, athletic & explosive Rashad Evans? Rampage looked no different against Wand. Wand just played right into Quinton's hands.
If Rampage tries to box the entire fight then Rashad wins by UD or TKO. Rampage is a powerhouse who can end the fight with one punch, but I think Rashad can avoid Rampage's boxing rather easily. IMO Rampage has to take Rashad down to win this fight. If Rampage is willing to take a "takedown 1st/GnP" mentality I think he wins.

Yeah I could't agree more. I think Rampage right now is the worst possible match up for Rashad.

I underestimated Rashad in each of his last two fights.
While I think he is the top LHW in the world right now, and one of the only guys who has a good chance at beating Machida because of his speed, I think Rampage wil win this fight rather easily.
The only way I see Rashad winning this fight is if he out points Rampage and refuses to engage at all.
I've got Rampage by TKO, rd 4.

If Rashad tweaks his nipples before the fight, then he splits Rampage's wig!

When I want Rampage to win he will lose, and when I want him to lose, he wins. So I'd guess that Rashad will win.

Everyone is supposed to be a bad match up for Rashad but he continues to win no matter who he fights.
Being undefeated and the champ, Rashad has a chance to become a VERY big commodity if he can string together a few wins. I'm leaning toward a Rashad "OMG nobody will believe it" era where he kicks everyones ass at 205 for a while.
