I think it was a 3 fight deal, but you might be right, it was definitely 3 or 4 fight contract. I'd rather see Fedor fight Barnett, Kharitonov before Randy, and I'd rather see him fight Lesnar as well at this point,

It isn't a huge fight but I'd still love to see it. Hopefully it will happen once Fedor finishes up outside of UFC and decides he wants Lesnar, Mir, and Randy.

and yet he just fought the UFC's former HW champ and he's about to fight another.
Just not in the UFC.

Probably so. It's a lot less interesting but I'd still like to see it, though. Just 'cause. It's the same situation as Serra/Hughes.

I wouldn't care if Peyton Manning got beat at Austrailian rules football. Bad example. Would it matter if Lance Artmstrong lost at BMX??? I hope someday Dana can get over this fear of image loss, otherwise how will MMA ever become an Olympic sport??? Belts change hands so often now it think they have lost some of there magic. I'm more concerned with watching the best fights.
I like Dana, I think he is great for MMA but he is still the guy who invented "Interim Champion."

Do we really want MMA to become a sport? There's a lot of fear that if that ever happens that it will be so watered down that it will barely resemble MMA as we know it. The Olympics are not fond of blood and violence.

Randy said before the Lesnar fight that he didn't think him and Fedor was ever going to happen now

I would prefer everyone throw their support behind Randy vs. Nog since that seems much more realistic t this point.I also think it would be a much better fight as both of them seem to be at the same point in their careers.
