Randy said on Inside MMA that it wouldnt be happening.
Why would anyone want to see it anyways?
Id rather see Fedor tested vs guys that can actually challenge him, sorry buy Randy is just to old for Fedor.

Three fight deal, so one down (Lesnar) two to go.

If Fedor ever signs with the UFC, it's feasible that they'd give him Randy first, before a title match, to build up his name to mass market UFC fans who aren't yet familiar with him. Other than that, I don't see it happening, as I don't see Randy leaving again after all the crap finally got settled. I figure he's in the UFC till he's done fighting, and then will probalby stay associated with UFC doing the occasional accouncing job, etc.

What the fuck? SAMBO? Like the World Sambo League (or whothefuckever) is going to rise to prominence and challenge the UFC's place as the #1 fight organization?

Mostly because the UFC doesn't want to have to say, "Our HW champion just got beat in Sambo by some guy 95% of our fans have never heard of."

That's pretty much right. Shame though...

That's what Fedor's side said. The UFC side said something entirely different (That they demanded Fedor came with a number of other fighters and were allowed to promote their stuff a lot). The truth is somewhere in the middle. However what details have poured out have shown that both sides have made demands that are somewhat unfair.
I agree with you though, if only both sides could work together!
UFC is hoping for Affliction to fail in 2009, making one less organization for Fedor to fight with. They are also trying to create a rift between fedor and his management, because they feel that Fedor cares more about fighting tough opponents than details in a contract. Who knows what the truth is.

It shouldn’t happen.

They're also probably hoping that AA beats him, so they can throw a bunch of money at AA to bring him back and either (a) not have to hear that Fedor is unbeatable anymore; or (b) lure him to the UFC for a rematch with AA.

After Brock gets some more experience, I'd like to see how he would do against Fedor. I know the Brock haters will come up with all kinds of reasons about how it doesn't matter how much he trains, how much experience he gets, etc. he will never be a match for Fedor, but I prefer to wait and see what happens before saying what will happen.
