Randy Couture's Future in UFC

Sorry, I haven't heard anything about Couture since after his defeat. Has he stated that he will finish his contract with the UFC, or anything about retirement? Randy Couture defines the UFC, I would hate to see him go with a loss. Call me insane, but I say give Randy a credible opponent, if he wins, give him a title shot. It's the least the UFC could do, I mean if Lesnar got a shot at the HW title for beating Herring, why can't Couture? By the way, if these two were to meet again, I promise you this time it would be so different, Randy always comes back stronger from his losses.

Randy would be 47 before his next title shot. Randy has been cold Knocked out in 3 of his last 6 fights. Sure, he could win some more fights, but not probably against Nog or Lesnar. If he just wants a few more paydays, he will stay.

Now that I think about it, all Randy cares about IS money, so he will probably fight again.

In my opinion though, it is ime for him to retire permanently and start up a union for the fighters.

I think Randy will probably get the loser of Nog/Mir and I see either being a bad match-up for him.

i think a good bet would be for randy to drop to 205 for a fight with Silva
i was definitely unimpressed by Andersons last fight. He didnt seem to be the killer he was if anything itd be one hell of a fight between him and randy

I don't really care much. He's been grossly overrated because of his wins over an injured Sylvia and Napao who has shown to fold any time the going gets tough.

I would have rather seen him keep fighting a year ago and go out on a good note, not wait a year to come back and get dropped by Lesnar... With the UFC having such a weak HW division he'd need maybe 2 wins to get back at the title. It just won't happen at his age. The fairytale is over. Let it go.

Id like to see him drop to LHW and Fight Wandy.
After that He can fight Anderson at 205.
And if he has any fights left they should give him Eddie Sanchez.

Loser of Nog/Mir is the most logically step and stylistically he matches up perfectly.

He trains Wandy so he won't fight him.
