The most OVERRATED champ in mma history. plz, his record is 16-8, that means he has lost 1/3 of his fights.

not only that, he gets a title shot against Tim (Which he did nothing at all to earn) then he decides the contract he has "isn't fair" what isn't fair is the fact that you got that gift title shot and now you want to back out of a contract you signed.

Also if Tim wasn't hurt during that fight then guess what you never get the title. and he beats the overrated Gabe Gonzaga and all of a sudden he's on fedor's level??? plz. the only reason i want to see this fight happen is so fedor can smash randy and all the randy nuthuggers. randy is overrated, a man with no honor, and a guy who will be like just the rest IF he ever does fight fedor.

i agree that he is a little overrated,but he has done a lot for the sport by bringing lots of top fighter together to train at one gym (Xtreme Couture)!!!!!!!

yeah that does nothing for me, for the sport, or do anything to change the fact that he is overrated.

I won't flame you and I do think Randy is vastly overrated although perhaps the greatest MMA fighter who utilized wrestling as his primary weapon. Sakuraba would be the other.

If Fedor/Randy happens, I see Fedor dominating a prolonged affair because of Randy's ability to "hold" a situation longer because of his wrestling.

So has Greg Jackson. Doesn't mean time wasn't wasted and he could've had a fight with Nog by now in the UFC, then Fedor after

I agree, I don't think he can beat Nog, Arlovski, or Barnett. Why would he get a shot at Fedor. I hate how this fight is getting the hype. Other fighters deserve that shot instead of him.

I do not think Randy is that spectacular.
He is good, but he has had some help in "getting title shots right off the bat" "Tim was hurt when he fought him"
And this whole backing out of his contract thing I think is BS and I think he is getting some bad advice from some stupid people.

Id take over Randy
Fedor, Big Nog, Arlovski, Heath Herring (yes I said it), Josh Barnett

The 16-8 record means nothing. I'm a true believer that Couture is peaking now. Call me a nuthugger or whatever, but I think now that Randy's personal life is in tact he's better than he ever was.

If the fight with Fedor ever happens, we'll know for sure. I truly believe that will be the biggest fight in MMA history.

Yes, even bigger than Fedor v. Cro Cop, Wand v. Chuck, and even the possible GSP v. Penn 2.
