I don't know what else it could be...

Silva an 11 straight winner in the ufc (9 of 11 by finishing his opponent), barely (if at all) arguably the best p4p fighter in mma history, and Kevin Lole's column title is:

'Time For Silva To Step His Game Up'
I didn't know anyone has ever stepped their game up to a higher level than Silva.

How about this comment in the same article:
"Silva declined to follow Leites, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, to the mat and turn a fight into a grappling match, leading to a dull five-round fight."
I am no Trainer, but that sounds like a winning strategy to me. Why don't I hear the same things being said about Chuck Liddell, or anyone else who waves his opponent up when they flop on their backs?

And this..
"He [Silva] was out-striking Maia in the first, mostly with a jab, and broke Maia’s nose with a flying knee in the second. However, he was prancing around the ring, talking incessantly to Maia. At one stage, he ducked behind massive referee “Big” Dan Miragliotta. He shook his rear end, slapped the mat, made odd faces and mocked his countryman repeatedly. What he didn’t do was what he had done so well so often in the past: finish the fight."

I see his point about the heckling, but then why is Sonnen getting away with it? And why are we saying he must finish the fight. 9/11 finishes is pretty damn good considering 2/2 at light heavyweight.

I can't believe how many threads and articles I have read lately dissing Anderson, THE BEST MIXED MARTIAL ARTIST EVER TO STEP IN THE RING!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's fought like shit recently, and he has been treated like shit recently. That isn't a coincidence.

People are upset at Silva for not finishing off Maia. It's really that simple.

he broke maia's fucking nose with one move, thats more damage then gsp did to hardy whole fight
