"I feel that they want Liddel to stay with the title"... am i the only one who thinks its still the same shit that he is saying UFC wants chuck as champ?

Its different because there is no connector/link between what he said about the decision and his analisis of Chuck being the next man for the title.

As for the Rampage/Forrest fight, I thought it was a draw, with a very slight nod in Forrest's favor, too slight to call it a victory. In a fight so close, why are people surprised others will have an openion about it that differs from their's? He said he thought Rampage won, a valid opinion. He's not going around saying so and so got rob and everyone else who says otherwise is a moron.
Again, this is a translation. In all of his previous interviews he came off as very modest and humble; this however made him come off as very direct and blunt. Simple choice of word from the translator can make him sound humble or malicious. For example, the Liddel title shot comment as someone else had pointed out before can be translated as: "They want a fighter that Liddel can beat so he can become champ again since he is very marketable" as compared to "They will probably give Liddel the title shot since the champion is someone he has a shot at beating(as opposed to Rampage) since he is very marketable". Says pretty much the same thing, but in very different tones. One suggests something shady and the other suggests a possiblility of what the UFC will do. So before everyone gets their panties in a bunch about his choice of words, remember, these aren't his direct choice of words so calm down.
As that has been said, he's not blind as to what's going on. He knows that he has a better shot at getting a title shot if Quinton was still champ because the UFC will favor Liddel to go against Forrest due to money. Because of this, he may have been swayed slightly in favor of Rampage, although I'm not saying that's what happened, just a possibility. Even without that it's not hard to see Rampage as the victor if Forrest wins rounds 2 and 5, and Rampage the rest if round 2 was scored as 10-9 in your eyes. I myself say rounds 2, 3, and 5 in favor of Forrest. I may have been swayed by the effects of the low kick. It definately made a lasting impression in the fight. Again, very close fight so stop freaking out about other people having a different opinion.
Blah, people will probably skip over this post and still bitch.
lol... as I was waiting for the mods to allow my account to post, someone posted a proper translation, and yet everyone skipped over that post. A good 3/5 or so people don't read anything other than the original post before respoding. Posting the link since everyone missed it.
New translation on Lyoto Machida : "Quinton won the fight" interview.
