Pride.to.the.Top - Fedor sub.

Hi , I have dowloaded some subtitles for documentary about Fedor . So i dont know how to ulpoad it it on net i gonna copy there. They are not timed for film and maybe they are not perfect but they are right at all. So enjoy...
Fedor 1
the calling out of the word King,
that is most suitable for me, to be called the best,
that statement exists for me, the current PRIDE heavy weight
champ, the Russian Last Emperor, this is his entrance.

his debut was 2 yrs ago. PRIDE 21, In only 3 matches,
defeated Nog to attain the belt,
(skip all fight commentary)
a fight without rules, this country praises PRIDE.
Sambo is the national MA to increase one's mental
strength, many train in this since childhood,
the home of the defending champion Fedor, we welcome
you to Russia.

To meet Fedor we will head from Moscow 12 hrs 1 way
on train. See how Fedor is training for his fight
with Naoya Ogawa. They will travel from Kurusuku station
which is the main transport stystem in Russia to this
day. A long underground tunnel to seek the train that
will head to Fedor. We get in the train and begin our
nostalgic journey. (everything in Russia seems old
and out dated from the eyes of Japanese reporter)
The train with beds, begins to move slowly and leaves
Moscow slowly. destination Starlui.Oskul which is 750km
away. the next morning at 8:00am we arrive. very close to
Ukraine, from here we travel 30 min. by car. As we reach
closer to Fedor's camp, dandylion flowers everywhere.
surrounded in nature this is where Fedor trains intensly
Radouga camp.

I am here at Radouga camp, 1st time for me, this is a
kid's camping ground, join me to see what kind of
training Fedor is doing here.
they sleep in a normal cottage just like the other
visitors. but we see things that are not normal for
a camping ground, training equipment.... they say Fedor
has already been training here for 2 weeks.
included in his training partners are 2 of his
brothers. Alexander and Ivan. all 3 sweat together,
coaches are Boronov and Michikov, Fedor's trusted
partners. upon arrival, Fedor greets us very warmly,
he seems very confident and at ease.
this is the 2nd place Fedor has been training,
the one before was also a children's camp. But to
concentrate on his training he sleeps over at the camp,
for his PRIDE GP training, I can feel their committment,
and decisiveness.

10am - training starts with running, at this site
they have been training for 2 weeks, 1 hr. in the
morning, 3 hr. at noon, 3.5 hr. at night, 8 hr.
training a day, everyday. Also for the 3 brothers
staying at this camp, Fedor is not the only main
person, his brother Aleksander is also facing a huge
task in PRIDE. Immediately training begins after running,
punches cut through the air as the three Ultimate
Russian Brothers begin shadow boxing. as the sun
is out, the temp is still not really hot, and Fedor's
movements do not slow down.

Interview with Boronov coach,
right now is summer, its hot, we have no AC, and here is
clean air. you can refresh yourself in nature, so we
try to train in camping ground, forest.
(narrator)-with his advice from coaches, Fedor has
gotten the best places to train. 1 hr into training,
they go into the forest, (reporter)-I think I can
only do 1 pull up right now.
Fedor doesn't use any modern exercise equipment,
is this the way to gain the muscles and body/mind
needed for martial arts?

(Fedor interview) every1 is different so I can't say
that it is the way. some say weight lifting, others
have different menu, I have moved away from that kind
of menu.

Fedor 2
both arms & both legs off the ground 4 back muscle
exercise. for a pretty long time, he keeps his mind
strong,
(Fedor interview) it's back & arm/leg muscle training
(narrator)lots of sweat comming out
(Fedor) it's for the climax in the training, I've
already been sweating before that.
and also this itself is quite hard, so that is why
I think I sweat so much for this.
And then another menu we have never seen before,
(Fedor spinning around when shadow boxing)
(coach) - that is for equilibrium training special
training. can also get on a machine, but that is the
prinipal. when you stand and spin, environment, changes,
and is good.
(Fedor) even when knocked down, to get up right away
& keep playing. (shows a clip of Randleman suplex Fedor)
its not just from this training, also doing a bunch of
other ones, from things like Sambo & Judo, I'm use to it.
(Fedor hitting tire with hammer)
there are other unique training we see them do.

(coach)-
Hammer is 34 KG, we do many types of training but that
is for legs & back muscle exercise.
also Judo throws, its a good exercise. (clip of Fedor
doing Judo throws on rubber bands)
(narrator) and for last menu on noon exercise is
swimming.
(Fedor)pool is very good for relax,
(narrator) relaxing is also very important part of
training.
5:00pm - last program is about to start. now in Radoka
it's 5:00pm but it doesn't seem like sun will be
setting any time soon. Fedor included most are topless
only Aleksander is not. Is it for weight loss?
Aleksander is also competing in PRIDE his debut
opponent is Mirko. He cannot loose infront of his
older brother, the same DNA runs in his body, burns
his fighting spirit.

(Aleksander interview) when entering a match I only
think about winning. there is no point in entering to
loose, since I train to win. my chances? ask Mirko
I'm sure he will say the same thing. maybe not the same,
but heavyweights, can end the fight with 1 hit.
even if its by luck, so hard to predict.
(Fedor) not worried, I'm just happy if Aleksander can
enter a high level event. Still in the future, if he
can become a good fighter, its great, and also would
be good influence to his life.
(Ivan boxing on the bag) Ivan the 3rd brother,
also wanting to walk the same path as his brothers.
(Ivan)until 20 I will do boxing and martial arts.
I want to also do Judo & Sambo.
(reporter)-Aleks is going to compete in this PRIDE GP
also against Mirko, and Ivan is 16 right now, when
20 he says he wants to do MMA so seems that is why he is
here as a sparring/training partner.
The 2 brothers big goal is right infront of them,
(Fedor)- I'm sure you will see slowly that Aleks
has trained in many things and he trains with me
constantly. His trainer Vasilivitch was also my trainer.
I think someday he will get to a high level as a fighter
and human being.
(Fedor shadow boxing)
Fedor is also looking for high grounds for himself,
now he begins with striking practice. starting with
foot work, he doesn't forget about upper body movement.
he is observing his own form in the shadow as he is
moving. His boxing trainer Mitchkoff is instructing him.
under Mitchkoff's harsh eyes, Fedor training quietly.

unbelievable amounts of sweat pouring out, everytime
he moves, sweat is splashed off. This is the 1st time
I've seen an MMA fighter train in nature.
Mitchkoff's stop watch signals the same time for a
PRIDE round. Like a Turkish wrestler, Fedor's upperbody
is oiling, but its not oil, its his sweat.
In his hand, he has ****l weights, so it seems like his
movements are getting slower & slower.

Fedor 3
(reporter) in shadow boxing they were carrying the ****l
weights, I feel these are simple workouts they do but
each one is carefully thought out with little interesting
modifications such as this.
Fedor is now doing image training, he is thinking of
an opponent as he shadow boxes.
Fedor's opponent for PRIDE GP will be Ogawa Naoya,
Sambo versus Judo. (shows clip of Ogawa beating
Giant Silva)
(Fedor)-I don't try to predict before the match,
standing or ground I just try to use arms legs fully
and try to win. on the ground, I try to utilize various
methods, and techniques that's all I'm thinking, not
specifically for Mr. Ogawa.
(clip of Serei killing Semmy) if Fedor wins, he may encounter
his former Russian Top Team, team mate, Sergei,
(Fedor) I've met Segei many times,as a fighter I think he
is not given that much credit by the people, he is a man
who can strike a man well on the ground, I taught him that.
(narrator) Sergei will be facing Mino, (shows clip of Fedor
beating Mino by strikes on the ground)
(Fedor) If I met Sergei in the finals it would make me
very happy.

Pride.to.the.top ...

Continue

Fedor begins low kick to the mitts of coach.
kicking hard left and right. He must have lots of power,
the trainer is using 2 mitts instead of 1, 1 must not
be enough, too painful?
Fedor is jump roping, must have learned from Michikov,
very smooth like a boxer, good rythym.
Fedor goes back to the building. But its not over yet.
now the last menu, begin ground training inside the
building. Training partner slowly get on top,
they start going hard. Fedor starts in the guard,
but ends up on mount, the ground control he has is
excellent, and Fedor once again start from guard.
is it because the match is soon? I feel lots of
intense emotions, killing aura, now its Fedor
on top, they are breathing hard, sorry, not Fedor, just
his training partner, Fedor is not yet out of breath.
they are maximizing the space in such a small matted
place (9 mats), Fedor's stamina is incredible,
cant imagine that he has been training under the hot
sun for long periods of time before this.
Fedor going for the Kimura from guard, did they slip
from sweat? re do from the middle of mats,
even from bottom (guard) Fedor is not in panick,
he counters quickly even if his opponent comes in
strong, when time to finish, Fedor moves fast like
an animal. Also very good at using legs to keep distance,
partner goes for a guillotine, but able to fend it off,
now from the mount, Fedor's movement seems very clever,
reading how is the opponent going to move next,
Kimura lock attempt was a failure, looks like he hurt
his leg a little. more people watching now, some little
girls too, since Fedor is a local hero, I think they all
know right away what he is doing.
Now all the menu is done, eveything needed to be done
is over. You can see it in his face. the sweat dripping
to the matt is proof of hard work. he is after the belt
once more.

(Fedor) I dont know if it will be hard until I try it.
the problem is that in such a high level as PRIDE,
the match can end instantly, or be pulled into a long
fight with decision, I don't know what is going to happen
just want to do a match that will appeal to the PRIDE fans.
(coach)- making semi finals finals, GranPrix is not the only
thing that is important, its important to win, and there
are many things to learn as you fight. wether it be a
PRIDE GP or local tournament, world tournament, any
event, important is to win with a good strategic plan.
and to get accurate information on what was good and what
was bad. we confirm those things every match. And Fedor
as a sport athlete and father will keep growing.
no matter what event, what result, keep learning new
skills.

(Fedor) I'm always asked if I will win, all I can do is
believe in myself. there are many variables in a match,
and luck can play a role as well. things I cannot control.
get injured and the match gets stopped. I can just have
hope to win, and work my hardest.

-Next day-
Alexandor.Niefuski sports club
Fedor stops by a sports club near by his home,
this is place where he can train and also relax.
he sooths his tired body from the hard training at
the camp in the Sauna with friends.
And then back at home, his daugher Masha changes his
face back to a daddy no different than the rest of us.
Fedor says, the most important thing is family.
And in the comming of tomorrow he will defend his champion status
once again when he gets in the ring,
Fedor will have the eyes of a fighter once again.

For his family which he loves, he fights in Japan,
And That is Fedor's Pride.

(Fedor)
To the PRIDE fans, I would like to send a hot message.
In the near future, I think I can show you the
results of my training. I have put my best efforts
in training for this Gran Prix,
I have been training hard so that I can win and
have you happy with that, so please on August 15th
please come and cheer for me.
