Pride Russia 03/2007
The Japanese "Daily Sports" is reporting that PRIDE will be holding an event in Russia in early March next year. In addition, the PRIDE Russia event will be ran by local organizers, unlike the Las Vegas event, similar to the 2H2H in Europe.
There is speculation that Fedor will take part in this event, despite the rumors about him being within another organization.

I dont think that is the case that it would be a Pride event. It may be something like 2H2H where Pride is invloved, but not a Pride FC event. Thier focus is on the US.

Russia is a huge market to tap, alot of combat sports in Russia and expanding it there would be a good idea since they obviously got the politicians to change the rules.

The article made it seem as if it were going to branded under the PRIDE name, in this case PRIDE RUSSIA, but would involve the help of local promoters. I think this is smart, it is a good idea to localize a product in some cases.

Sounds like they're doing this just to appease Mr.Emelianenko
